It depends on your tray. The Medium fits trays up to 40 x 40 x 38cm, Large fits up to 49 x 43 x 38cm, and XL is for the bigger set-ups at 59 x 43 x 38cm. When in doubt, size up - the liners are easy to tuck in and the drawstring will hold them in place either way.
Will these work with my litter tray?
Almost certainly, yes. Our cat litter liners are designed to fit a wide range of open trays across all three sizes. They're not designed for automatic self-cleaning litter boxes, but for standard open and hooded trays they do the job well.
How do I use my litter liner?
Open the liner, place it inside your tray, and fold any excess over the rim. Fill with your usual litter and you're good to go. When it's time to change, just pull the drawstrings, tie it shut and pop it in your household waste bin.
Will my cats claws tear the liner?
They're extra thick and tear resistant, so they're built to handle a good dig. While no liner is completely claw-proof, these are designed to stay intact through your cat's usual litter box activity.
Do they stop smells & leaks?
Yes - that's the idea. The thick material creates a barrier that helps prevent urine and odours from soaking into the tray itself, which also means your tray lasts longer. Crisis averted, tray saved.
How do I dispose of them?
Secure the drawstrings, tie the liner shut and put it in your domestic waste bin. These aren't flushable or suitable for composting. One less thing to worry about.
What are these liners made from?
90% post-consumer recycled PE, so your used plastic gets a second life before heading to landfill. The remaining 10% is virgin plastic and stabilisers needed to make the liner functional. Not perfect, but a step in the right direction.
